Our mission is to serve and represent the hospitality industry within the Municipality of Anchorage. Collaborate with responsible members, stakeholders, and businesses as a vital part of the community.

Vision

Anchorage CHARR is a united financially sound organization committed to protect, foster, and grow the hospitality industry locally, which serves a strong membership and fosters a positive relationship with the Anchorage community.

Our Community

The establishments of the Downtown Licensed Beverage Association (DLBA), the Anchorage Police Department (APD) and the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (ABC Board) agree; to identify and address any concerns involving the safety and vitality of the downtown area, it's citizens and businesses.

To collaborate with other people and organizations on future projects that benefit downtown. Actively encourage other liquor licensees to join in our partnership and meetings. Hold monthly or bi-monthly meetings. To continue to address and respond to the following issues:

Serving drunken persons and public inebriates.
Drug dealers and prostitution.
Liquor law compliance, interpretation and enforcement.
Underage drinking and false I.D.
Driving Under the Influence (DUI)

Each of these issues needs to be continually addressed and monitored by the participants on an ongoing basis.

DLBA (Downtown Licensed Beverage Retailers Association) meeting info to be held here in our office the third Wednesday of every other month at 10:30am.
