Anchorage CHARR is a united financially sound organization committed to protect, foster, and grow the hospitality industry locally, which serves a strong membership and fosters a positive relationship with the Anchorage community.

About Us

The Anchorage Cabaret, Hotel, Restaurant and Retailers Association is a non-profit corporation, dedicated to serve the needs of the hospitality industry in our city.

The Association provides training programs, membership services, legislative and government relations, informational services, and promotes the industry for its members.

Who We Are

Anchorage CHARR is the only citywide organization serving the hospitality industry since 1999. With Alaska CHARR Affiliates established in Fairbanks, Kodiak, Ketchikan, Juneau, Nome, Sitka and the Kenai Peninsula, we strive to provide the hospitality industry with the most comprehensive representation.

In collaboration with Alaska State CHARR who operates the most respected and widest known alcohol server training program in Alaska, Techniques of Alcohol Management® (TAM) since 1984. Alaska State CHARR publishes the hospitality trade publication (Toast Magazine®), distributed free of charge to over 1,800 licensees in our state. We fight for your rights as a business owner in the hospitality industry, through lobbying on the local, state and national levels.
